the smell of mowed grass
the family adventures to share in years to come:
Yes, the lawn mower ACTUALLY CAUGHT ON FIRE...
as well as dried grass clippings in the deck of the mower!
Now that is HOT!
laughter in the midst of it
playdates here AND there
(the best cure for tweener cabin fever)
one perfect week of "no school" to celebrate the beginning of summer...
(lounging around the pool or the house -
smiles, rest, peace, contentment)

Ohh... that pool is looking so inviting! It is hot here. Almost 7pm and still in the upper 90's. Grateful for air conditioning today for sure! I love those crazy family adventures that you can talk about for years and laugh more each time! :)
