SOLDIER'S PRAYER
Give me the love that leads the way,
the faith that nothing can dismay,
the hope no disappointments tire,
the passion that will burn like fire.
Let me not sink to be a clod:
Make me thy fuel, Flame of God.
Amy Carmichael
I have this in a "spiritual warfare" collage....
May your week be full with faith, hope, passion, and being the fuel for the Flame of God!

Such a beautiful woman who is a favorite of mine, too. Oh to be as dedicated to others as Amy was. She inspires me to do more for God.
So lovely! Love the quote and the collage!
Very beautiful art to match the words. Thanks for sharing.
The colors are stunning, and they go so well with the words. I like this very much, beautiful work.

Love the prayer and your artwork is simply beautiful...full of energy and hope. Take care and have a wonderful week...perhaps a more peaceful one ;} Fondly, Roberta
So beautiful Cindy!
I hope you're enjoying the tweener...and even though you're busy, that you continue to enjoy every moment!
What a wonderful quote! Love the collage. The colors are just amazing. Beautiful work Cindy! Sounds like a fun summer with the tweener! :)
A beautiful painting.
Boy that painting grabs me and then putting it with that poem. It's just perfect.
We have had a load of powerful storms too. My youngest has become very worried when it rains these days...even just a little. She starts off by saying "Oh! NO! it's raining?" Then she will say "I'm not worried!" and then "but, could we stay in. . .I think I'm worried just a little." My poor baby! Bless her heart!
Oh.... I just found your post. So sweet of you.... thank you for the mention :)
VERY CLOSE TO MY HEART being married to a military guy and feeling the weariness on both sides of the globe. Thanks so much for sharing.
