Bird trio - found on clearance at Hobby Lobby and painted white over the multi-colored images...
the images are still visible...beautiful texture
but the tweener preferred the color!
New eternal word painting complete and shown with its complements...
Guardian 1 is moving along...I am loving that paint under the wings, and what has stopped me is seeking God on how/if to let that beautiful color stay...
the hair is blocked in, only to show me where it fits...
3rd in the "Eternal Words" series...it is complete!
And finally, check out this link at my website, for the rest of what I have been up to this week...

Everything looks lovely...as usual. I especially like the Faith, Hope, Love series...and wow, you've made so much progress on your angel!
Beautiful work this week.
oooh! I love taking hobby lobby clearance items and repainting, etc!
I get a lot of canvases that way! And when the original pattern/design shows through underneath, it usually ends up looking really cool!
Cindy, those Eternal Word pictures are awesome. I love the coloring and the "eternal-ness" in them makes them so meaningful.
Guardian I is beautiful. I do like the color peeking through on the wings. I love seeing the process unfold.
Thanks for your kindness. You always bless me with your words.
I followed your link and cant wait to sit down and listen, with a journal. This is new to me. Although I have been doing alot of processing through my blog. I love the color peeking though the angels wings as well. If the photo is true to what you see I would leave it - my $.02 worth.
Beautiful work! I love seeing the complete Faith, Hope, and Love set; they're perfect together. And I love the color on the guardian's wings! It's somehow unexpected yet not startling.
Good morning, Cindy! Your "faith, hope and love" series is so beautiful. I just want to touch the texture of those paintings; I know they are richly layered.
I also love the color under the angel wings, the way it seeps down between the feathers. Is that the color you mean? It is lovely. I hope you leave it :)
I thought I followed you long ago, Cindy! No wonder I wasn't getting updates when you posted :)
Love the combination of the "new white birds" with the "eternal words" as backdrops for them...very inspiring.
the counseling sessions you are offering through the creative process I KNOW will be an incredible catalyst for healing. Congrats to you.
