My cherry tree is blooming, and seemed the perfect subject for the black and white lesson in Beyond Layers this week. I brushed out some of the background, applied Pioneer Womans B & W action, added a rosy hued texture at softlight because the pure black and white just seemed too stark, and finally the Kanji brush I made. The symbol is the one for "spring".
What other spring quotes can you think of that I might use?
