and remembering gifts given through out time:
sweet daughter's 10th birthday!
family togetherness at our favorite birthday restaurant
working with family to clean up the yard area behind the mailbox -
(it looks so good when we come up the drive way now)
working hard and then going into town to get shaved ice
(almost 100 degrees on the last day of April!)
THEN
turning the heater on in May!
(loving this crazy Texas weather!)
enough rain to end the burn bans in the county
(maybe now we can get our pile of dead branches which has grown to the size of a small house!)
clinging to God's hand through a rough patch last week
dear husband who listened as tears spilled...
gaining spirit strength as I
connect to Him in prayer
connect to Him in prayer
winding yarn balls

What a wonderful birthday to spend time together as a family! I love the accomplishment after working in the yard for a while! My goodness... you guys are HOT already. Our heater was on this morning when we got up. That crazy weather is everywhere I think. lol Your husband is so sweet! Beautiful list Cindy!
Hey! just got back from Texas. you're right about the crazy weather! Happy birthday to your girl.
That weather sounds crazy! I was glad for some sunshine on Saturday, since we've had so much rain.
I can relate to the following...
clinging to God's hand through a rough patch last week
dear husband who listened as tears spilled...
gaining spirit strength as I
connect to Him in prayer
This was me last week...and I'm sure there will be more this week. I cried a lot in church yesterday...and then prayed a lot ...then prayed some more...such a process. I hope you have a better week! =)
Hi Cindy, I'm on chapter 3 in the 1000 gifts book. Such a sad beginning, at times to painful to imagine. I'm starting to get into this mind set, just thinking of God's blessings throughout the day. This morning, I was loving working on a walkway in my yard made of broken concrete. It is coming together and looking like a million bucks. I was just so thankful for the cool morning breeze, the sound of the birds, and seeing something beautiful made from a pile of rubble. I haven't started writing the blessings down yet, but I'm much more aware of them, then I was before. Thanks, Cindy
I love to work hard organizing and cleaning...then looking upon a new fresh space...makes the heart glad for sure!!
We had snow on May 1st!! Crazy weather!!
Hugs

What a wonderful list! I can so identify with the rains, the hot weather, and then the cold! I was tempted to start a fire yesterday! I hear it's supposed to be in the 90's by the weekend. Oh, Texas...
