Crossed Ways

Glory moments come knocking in disguises...

I can miss this friend dressed as stranger, my eyes blind to God's ways in the ordinary...

I must lift them up to the One who helps correct the vision, the perception - lenses adjusted to see into the spirit realm, to see the multitudes at the ready to come to my aid...

My sweet tweener and I had gotten cross-ways with each other…as I finished combing the snags out of her beautiful curls, the gentle whispers of the Holy Spirit started filling in “the rest of the story”…then, as we shared some art time shortly after, our conversation naturally turned towards the issue that had been at the root of our little conflict – and we had such a rich, full, insightful, deep into each other’s hearts sharing time! And  I was able to speak into her what God had been telling me about her purpose and calling at the same time!

Crossed ways redeemed by Cross Ways!

Those tweener moments are fraught with mine-fields - aren't they?!! So glad you were able to turn it into a rich, valuable, redeemed moment! I often have to humble myself to redeem those moments that start off poorly! Thanks for sharing your moment - stories like that need to be shared to lift each other up!

"Crossed ways redeemed by Cross Ways!" Love that!!
What an encouraging story... and I also love that even after the conflict you spent time with one another, and how that time spent doing art together gave the opportunity for some deeper talk.

Those get-to-the-root-of-it conversations are such a precious jewel, aren't they? I'm so glad you got one today :)

Good approach...I'll have to remember this motto.

"Crossed ways redeemed by cross ways" so beautifully put. I'm caught between looking forward to deep conversation with my girls when they are bigger, and wanting them to stay little forever!
