| Just another photograph I wish I had taken...Photo Credit here... So much of the time we think of "Art Therapy" in terms of what we create or guide others to create, to let out those things deep in our souls that have no expression with other forms of communication... But therapeutic art can also be those creations that draw out of our souls some depth of response... Images like this one - perfectly arranged, simple, spare, the natural elements being the focus... this evokes quietness in my own soul, a sense of comfort and order as I view textures, lines, form, color... A reminder that wholeness can be found in quiet simplicity... For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength." Isaiah 30:15 |
