What the Bible Says About Creating Vision Boards + Expressive Therapeutic Art Prompt

This topic of vision boards is SO important!

I have really been praying about and considering how to address this topic because I didn't want to seem harsh and critical, or on the other hand, leaning towards New Age philosophy.  But, part of my mandate from God in this new season is to RECLAIM His original intention with the healing arts and RESTORE the full truth about certain practices so that His children can REAP the insights and growth He provides for!

Great post. I'm doing vision boards with the teens at my church this week. I was trying to find scripture to back it up. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing this. I have been doing one yearly for the last couple of years and it as has been very helpful in keeping me on track and focused. I can be all over the place. There is a bible verse that God gives me as my focus and this keeps me in line with what God wants for me and what God wants from me. Love my vision boards!

It always astonishes me that Christians don't realize God created the Law of Attraction just as He created the Law of Gravity. Jesus teaches the principles. I was glad to see your blog. I am curating it to my coaching for entrepreneurs site and on social. I also teach many of the principles to my Christian wives struggling with the guilt and shame of struggling with marriage, divorce and remarriage. I help them to find their joy and purpose in life partially through becoming healthy in Spirit, mind, emotions and body.

I believe vision boards are great tools when used correctly. But I take issue when God believing people fill 25% of a poster board with different forms of money and additional vehicle that are well into the $100's and at that point it becomes a board of idols not visions. For some people this gets lost in translation unfortunately.
