Sneak Peek Friday - Colossians Prayers and Tutorials Coming

On my desk this week are more "prayer pieces"...here is the first layer...scraps of paper laid in wonderful randomness over the surface.  Behind the collaged background is the beginning of another piece like the "Prophecy" piece from last week; working on backgrounds is the order of the day!
Here it is with the words adhered with gel medium...the passage is Colossians 1:10.
And here is the new piece with the first Colossians piece at the top...the new piece is 10" x 10"; the finished is 5 1/2" x 10"...

I will be posting a tutorial on making these sometime in the next week...perhaps by then I will have come up with a captivating title for it!

Hope you enjoyed this peek, and you can find other creatives at Studio JRU's Sneak Peek Fridays...

AND, next week the Sneak Peek will be hosted over at {in}courage so definitely come back and see all the peeks over there!

Your new pieces are lovely. It is amazing how the words are brighter in a collage. Thay are really cute and really meaningful, too.

Nice work, Cindy! Collage is my favorite to make, all the textures and layers and different mediums. I like seeing your piece come together.
